Job Description
The Production Supervisor position coordinates all activities of production associates for the assigned plant and/or department. This position also assists in production activities when needed.
Responsibilities
o Studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency of assigned associates.
o Creates an environment of teamwork among associates.
o Inspects products to verify conformance to customer specifications.
o Studies schedules and estimates associate hour requirements for completion of job assignments.
o Enforces company policies and safety regulations.
o Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet customer schedules.
o Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of products.
o Suggests changes in working conditions to increase efficiency.
o Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists associates in solving work problems.
o Initiates or suggests plans to motivate associates to achieve work goals.
o Maintains time records.
o Confers with other supervisors to coordinate with other departments.
o Assists in production activities, as needed.

Education and Experience
High school diploma/GED required. Three (3) to five (5) years' experience in production supervision.
Additional Essential Requirements
Must be able to reach and lift from 40 to 60 pounds occasionally as needed.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
