Job Description:
The Programmer Position is responsible for creating and modifying computer programs to support highly specialize manufacturing equipment by converting project requirements into code. This Position is also responsible for ensuring operation of equipment by following equipment manufacturer's instructions, troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, coordinating equipment repairs, and evaluating new equipment and techniques.
Responsibilities:
o Confirm project requirements by reviewing program objectives, input data, and output requirements with Maintenance Manager;
o Arrange project requirements in programming sequence by analyzing requirements, preparing a work flow chart and diagram using knowledge of computer capabilities, subject matter, programming language, and logic;
o Encode project requirements by converting work flow information into computer language;
o Confirm program operation by conducting tests and modifying program sequence and/or codes;
o Prepare references for users by writing operating instructions;
o Maintain historical records by documenting program development and revisions;
o Ensure operation of equipment by following equipment manufacturer's instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, coordinating equipment repairs, and evaluating new equipment and techniques;
o Analyze, troubleshoot, diagnose and assist in emergency equipment repairs to support plant Maintenance Team;
o Participate in engineering and plant production meetings and report out on programming operations and continuous improvement projects;
o Comply with all applicable safety regulations;

Education and
Experience:
High school diploma/GED required. Completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of computer programming experience in a manufacturing environment required. Minimum of seven (7) years of programming experience in a manufacturing environment with proven ability to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, coordinate equipment repairs, and evaluating new equipment required.
o Experience with PROFIBUS networking technologies highly preferred;
o Robotics programming experience highly preferred (FANUC);
o Experience with Rockwell Automation HMI Software (e.g., RSLogix 500, Factory Talk Machine Edition, Factory Talk View, etc.) highly preferred;
o Experience with the Allen Bradley family of software preferred.
Additional Essential Requirements:
Ability to complete programming and tech support duties on an off-shift and ability to assist with on-call emergency repairs also required. In addition, the physical demands described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, etc. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
