Summary
This position reports to the Production Supervisor. The primary role of this position is to maintain the in-line PVD coating system equipment in accordance with established process tolerances and to ensure the proper operation of the system in order to produce quality products. Responsibilities include day to day ownership (and continual improvement) of in-line PVD equipment.
Responsibilities
o Continuous monitoring of PVD production processes using the computer HMI;
o Periodic monitoring of key gauges and instrumentation;
o Troubleshooting the operation of the system to minimize equipment downtime;
o Performing routine maintenance of the system to limit downtime and ensure continuous operation of the system;
o Performing complete component target changes per work instructions;
o Performing complete equipment shield changes per work instructions;
o Properly documenting the operation of the system on operator logs and checklists;
o Properly communicating the operation of the system to PVD Operators during shift change, maintenance, and supervision, when required;
o Maintaining organization of parts needed for the operation of the system;
o Any other duties as directed by Production Supervision or Plant Management.

Education and Experience
o High School Diploma;
o Demonstrated computer proficiency.
Other Requirements
o Ability to work off-shifts and to work overtime, as needed, including starting early, staying late, and weekend work, as needed;
o Ability to work in a continuous process environment;
o Ability to working in tight spaces;
Ability to sit, standing, climb, kneel, crouch, and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
