##### Job Summary
Responsible for performing all robotic and hand polishing/buffing operations on Zimmer products using abrasive belts, buffs, compounds, and greases to attain the required cosmetic and blueprint specifications on the product.
##### Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Load and unload parts in the Robots
Change belts and wheel as necessary for proper finish
Maintains all equipment in the department as is required
Do final buff for parts requiring additional work after robots finish
##### Expected Areas of Competence
Proficient reading and interpreting blueprints
Proficient in performing inspection of products using micrometers, calipers, comparator and gauges.
Capable of working without close supervision
Works in a team/cellular environment
##### Education/Experience Requirements
Education Requirements - One year experience of orthopaedic polishing or buffing using a variety of metals. .
Skill Requirements - Robotic CNC experience preferred
Licenses/Certifications - Certified inspection techniques within 30 days of start
