Summary: Position is responsible for maintaining customer pricing and reconciles commission levels for sales distributors. May prepare sales commissions reports, proposed pricing impact analysis, and profitability reports upon request.
Essential Duties:
1. Following Biomet's policies, troubleshoots designated accounts and resolves pricing issues by applying appropriate business judgment.
2. Researches and approves price discrepancies on error screen and reconciles at the distributor level.
3. Serves as primary point of contact for distributor questions regarding price issues. Suggests optimal solutions to distributor and/or Director of Strategic Accounts that maximizes benefits for company and distributor.
4. Ensures that distributors follow signed pricing agreement.
5. Calculate rebates and administrative fees earned for assigned contracts.
6. Review and approve requests for order credits and rebills.
7. Prepares adhoc commission, price impact, and profitability reports as requested. Assists Director of Strategic Accounts.
8. Performs related duties as required.
Job Specifications:
Requires the ability to read and interpret pricing contracts and follow prescribed methods to proactively maintain customer pricing, striving to eliminate pricing errors.
Must be attentive to detail and able to effectively balance multiple competing priorities according to deadlines and business needs.
Must have ability to perform basic mathematical operations and basic accounting functions.
Skills And Abilities:
Ability to acquire and maintain product knowledge across all product lines.
Must thoroughly understand and apply good contract management principles.
Ability to compile and analyze data for the purpose of producing comparative reports.
Ability to manage distributor relationships by using tact, diplomacy, and phone etiquette.
Ability to train others in methods used to reconcile pricing information.
Ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing to several levels of management and contractors.
Ability to enforce company policy and ensure contract adherence.
HS diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree strongly preferred. Experience working within the medical device industry is preferred. Customer Service knowledge is helpful. Microsoft Excel proficiency required. Experience with XA, AS400, and other computer systems preferred.
Working Climate: Tasks involve the ability to exert light physical effort in sedentary to light work, but may involve some lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling of objects and materials of weight up to 10 pounds.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
