Our client, a leading orthopedic company in Warsaw, IN is looking for a Sr. CAD NX Designer with Unigraphics NX version 4 or higher. 4 year degree is required. This is for a 12 month contract assignment.

Summary:
Create and revise solid models and detail drawings using 3-Dimensional modeling tools.
Responsible for the integrity of the computer-graphic product and process model databases.
These models must be suitable for internal concurrent manufacture, CAE evaluation, CMM data extraction and vendor translation.
Duties and Responsibilities
Works simultaneously with development, research, CAE, manufacturing, tool and process engineers to create complex 3-D surfaced or solid models of orthopedic implants, provisional and instrumentation.
Works simultaneously with process engineering and CNC programming to develop casting, forging and processing models and drawings.
Evaluates designs using anatomic data.
Creates various 2-D and 3-D deliverables for brand managers and marketing communications.
Performs complex 3-D tolerance analysis ensuring proper fit and function.
Manages a portion of the graphics maintenance workload.
Complies with existing procedures and standards to create product models and drawings that comply with Quality Systems Regulations.
Education/ Experience Requirements
Must have training and/or experience creating solid models using Unigraphics software; 4 year degree required. NX version 4 or higher
Capable of modifying existing Unigraphics models and drawings


Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
