Speech Language Pathologist

This position is for the adult population.

Education

Must hold a minimum of a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a school accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CAA).

Licensure/Certification

Must hold or be eligible to receive a Speech Language Pathologist license in the state where services will be provided within the first 90 days of employment or hold a license as a Clinical Fellow in his/her Clinical Fellowship Year.
Clinical Fellow ( CFY ) must be mentor by a Stated Licensed/ASHA certified SLP in the state where services will be provided and employed by Parkview Health.
If employee is a CFY , she/he must obtain state licensure within 18 months of initiation of the CFY.
Must hold Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) if not in their CFY.
Must be certified in CPR or must become certified within the first 90 days of employment.
Must maintain all certifications and licensure according to the expiration date.
If assigned to drive a company vehicle, a valid driver's license is required.
If assigned to drive a personal vehicle, proof of insurance is required in addition to a valid driver's license.

Experience

Work experience with Modified Barium swallow studies required

Other Qualifications

Must be able to lift 50 pounds, assist with 100 pounds, may be required to push up to 300 pounds.
Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
Must be willing to work at other locations as assigned.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
