Warsaw, IN Warsaw, IN Full-time Full-time Summary Under the direction of a licensed Nurse and with respect for human dignity delivers a variety of high quality, basic patient care services that meet the needs and uniqueness of our patients/visitors.
Functions as a Patient Access Services Representative in addition to Emergency Care Tech.
Responsible for registration of inpatient, outpatients, and emergency room patients.
Conducts professional patient interviews obtaining demographic, financial, and biographical information.
Responsible for cashier duties including the collection of patient co-pays at time of service in the Emergency Department, collecting estimated cost of service in outpatient areas, as well as receiving payments on patient accounts.
Answers patient questions regarding estimate or outstanding balance and provides patient with payment options or offers Financial Clearance assistance.
Responsible for the delivery of service excellence; and adheres to the PH Standards of Behavior.
Education Must meet one of the following requirements:
current CNA, EMT or Paramedic certification, or must take Parkview's Patient Care Foundations course at time of hire Experience Prefer one year minimum experience working in emergency services or patient care setting.

Parkview Health Emergency Care Schedule:
Full Time Benefit Eligible, Evenings, 11a-11p.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
