DePuy Orthopaedics is the Joint Reconstruction business offering orthopaedic devices, solutions and supplies for hip, knee and extremity reconstruction, in addition to cement and operating room products.
The Associate Product Director will assist in the development and execution of marketing strategies contributing to the maximization of profitability and market penetration of DePuy Synthes Knee Products. This includes promotional media, digital marketing and educational materials. This individual will assist in sales analysis and execution of business plans. The Associate Product Director will also assist in providing support to the sales organization and worldwide distribution channels with responsibilities including: general sales support, technical support, physician and OR visitations, assisting with new product launches, product information updates, and inventory management. The ideal candidate will work with cross functional team including development, regulatory, operations, quality, and information technology in managing manage multiple projects with various degrees of complexity and ambiguity.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree is required. A graduate degree (MBA) is preferred. A minimum of 3 years related business experience (medical device, pharmaceutical or related healthcare industry) is required. Candidates should have excellent written and verbal presentation skills and experience with product management/launches. Ability to develop effective working relationships with both internal departments and external customers. Must be organized, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast paced environment. Up to 40% domestic and international travel, including some weekends, required. Willing to work with cadavers and within an Operating Room setting. Must be of a global mindset, and have an understanding and sensitivity of other cultures. Position is located in Warsaw, IN.
